Obituary for Brett Matthew Henckel
Brett Matthew Henckel passed away Saturday, May 23rd, 2020. Brett was born to Frederick and Carol (Kametler) Henckel June 9, 1967 at Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh.
Brett is survived by his six children, Cooper Henckel of Rhinelander, Alexis (Trevor) Huven of Kroenewetter, Savanah Henckel of Marquette MI, Braydan Henckel of Antigo, and Charles and Vyolette Henckel of Oshkosh. A granddaughter Harper Huven. Brett is also survived by his mother, his brother, John (Robyne) Smith of Manawa, and his sister, Kristi Colley of Oshkosh as well as several nephews and nieces.
Brett was proceeded in death by his father, sister Allison Head of Madison, and niece Reighlee Stevenson of Oshkosh, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ascension for the care they gave Brett and the time they took with his family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Verve, a Credit Union.
A private service will be held for Brett’s family at a later date.
