Obituary for Caryl Jean Schoenberger

Caryl Jean Schoenberger, age 87, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. She was born in De Kalb, IL on October 27, 1934, the daughter of the late Harold and Gertrude (Johnson) Robertson. On July 25, 1953 she married Jerome Schoenberger at St. Vincent Catholic Church, Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2014. Caryl graduated from Oshkosh High School 1953. She loved to play cards, bowl, and spend time at their cottage at Boulder Lake, WI. Caryl will be remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Caryl is survived by her children: Mike (Gayle) Schoenberger, Bob (Nancy) Schoenberger and Debby (Kevin) Parker; grandchildren: Garrett (Christine) Schoenberger, Michelle (Cory Helm) Schoenberger, Abby (Chris) Agrell, Casey Schoenberger, Jay (Bree Bertotto) Supple, Kari (Kenzie) Supple and Jerid (Sammy) Parker; great-grandchildren: Leighton, Olivia, Kenleigh, Brooks, Erika, Madisyn, Coltin, Jay III, Josie, Layla, Vito and Kylie; sister, Grace (Mike) Aglia; and sister-in-law, Irene (John) Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; her parents; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn; brothers and sisters: Betty Hough, Sharon O’Bryant, Victoria Kellman, Mike Robertson, Don Robertson, Wayne Carr, Robert Robertson, Gary McCake and Jamie Pierce.

A memorial visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at ST. RAPHAEL THE ARCHANGEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 830 S. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh, with Fr. Tom Long officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Caryl’s name is being established.
