Obituary for Catherine Mary "Cathy" Feldhausen
Catherine M. Feldhausen, 67, passed away in Appleton, Wisconsin on October 8, 2021. She was born on April 23, 1954 in Green Bay to Donald and Marianne (Joly) Feldhausen.
Cathy graduated from Marquette University and pursued a career in nursing. She spent the first part of her career working in the hospital, and then in a nursing home until she found her passion doing home healthcare.
She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed knitting, attending Life Group, volunteering in the kids ministry at RiverValley Church (where she loved to watch the babies), and watching Badger and Packer games. Cathy always found time to serve others by cooking meals for anyone in need at RiverValley Church.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Earl McDonell; kids, Ben (Juli) Prevost, Danielle (Brian) Kratzke; grandchildren, Nathan, Katelyn, Caleb, and Analeigh Prevost. She is further survived by her siblings, Sue (Jerry) Harris, Lynn (Dave) Tellock, and Joe (Jen) Feldhausen; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Mary; and her brother, John Feldhausen.
A gathering will be held at RiverValley Church, 1331 High Ave, Oshkosh, on Saturday October 16, from 10am to 2pm with celebration being held at 11am.
In lieu of flowers a fund has been established at RiverValley Church with all contributions going towards the children's ministry area. Please make checks payable to RiverValley Church and put Feldhausen in the memo line. There will be drop boxes at the celebration and they can also be mailed to the church.
