Christine “Chris” J. Berger, age 55, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. She was born in Neenah on January 23, 1966 the daughter of the late Clifford and Bette (Everett) Kempf. On February 14, 2001 she married her husband of 21 years, Gerald “Jerry” Berger. Chris enjoyed camping with Jerry, being with her good friend Sue, playing with her Cocker Spaniels, planting flowers and working in the garden. Chris will be remembered for being fun loving and kind to everyone.
Chris is survived by her husband, Jerry; brothers and sisters: David (Marge) Kempf of Appleton, Mike (Chung Uh) Kempf of Seattle, WA, Rory (Cindy) Kempf of Idaho, Debbie (Wayne) Schimke of Rhinelander; Phyllis Kempf of Oshkosh, Kim (Brian) Moode of South Carolina and Lori Kempf of Appleton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Betty Kempf; and grandparents: Adolf and Hilda Kempf of Berlin, and Floyd and Thelma Everett of Redgranite.
Private family services will be held. Memorials in Chris’ name may be sent to Mr. Gerald Berger, 624 W. 9th Ave., Oshkosh, WI 54902.
