Coleen Ann Parker, 67, passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2021. She was born in Oshkosh on August 12, 1953 to Ervin and Shirley (Newton) Stark. She graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1972. She married the love of her life, James Jakl, in 1980. Coleen and Jim moved to Spokane, WA in 2003. At age 50, Coleen attended Spokane Community College, where she was on the Dean’s list and graduated with honors. After Jim passed away, Coleen married Tom Parker of Pleasely, England. While living in England, she greatly enjoyed traveling to many other countries in Europe. Coleen eventually returned to Oshkosh, where she spent the last several years.
She is survived by her sister Carla (Leonard) Messal, nephew Jason Peterson, and ex-husband Tom Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband James Jakl, her parents, and her son Kirk Stark.
The family would like to thank Lakeland Care and Aurora Health at Home Hospice Care for the excellent care Coleen received. We also want to thank her many friends at Simeanna III for their friendship and assistance, especially her friend Pat Bird, who stayed with her and provided compassionate care during her time in Hospice.
Coleen is happy to be in Heaven with her Lord and loved ones who have preceded her.
Per her wishes, there will be no service.
