David M. “Dave” Raddatz, age 72, of Oshkosh, died peacefully on January 23, 2020, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Born on January 29, 1947, in Oshkosh, the son of Carl and Florence Raddatz, Dave married Lisa Lembcke.
As a young man, Dave worked with his father installing antennas. Later, Dave became a Medical Technician, before becoming the Bar Manager at Charcoal Pit for 17 years in Oshkosh. He finished his working career after operating his own bar establishment in Neenah.
As a couple, Dave and Lisa loved to go “up north” and taking road trips. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks. A favorite activity for Dave was playing cards and would always go to Tina’s and Don’s with his in-laws, playing up and down the river, calling it the “round table.”
Loved by many friends, Dave knew people from all over. He made friends for life as he was truly the nicest man ever, never hurting anyone. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Raddatz; his father and mother-in-law, Joe and Theresa Lembcke; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Rod (Cori) Lembcke, Jeff (Lori) Lembcke, Tina (Don) Arciszewski, Rick (Deb) Lembcke, and Dave Lembcke; aunts, uncles, cousins; and special friends, Eddie and Susan Marine. Dave is preceded in death by his parents and all other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held at the chapel from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Celebrating Dave’s life will continue at The Bar, 825 N. Washburn St, Oshkosh, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. A special thank you to Tracy R. of Ascension Visiting Nurses, Dave loved you, you were our angel.
Papa Bear, you were the strongest man and never complained of the pain you went through. I was so blessed to have you in my life, God truly gave me a gift. You were my everything, you were the most kind and loving man with a heart of gold, I will miss you so much. Now you can be free of pain, take that special gift from God, those beautiful angel wings, and be that special angel in heaven. I will always love you my Papa Bear. I have always told you this and I’ll say it all my life, “I love you more than life itself,” Love Mamma Bear
