Obituary for Dennis Allen Rowen

Dennis Allen Rowen, age 69 of Berlin, died unexpectedly on May 3, 2021. He was greeted in Heaven by his mother and father, brother Tom, and the rest of his loving family and friends that had gone before him.
Dennis was born on March 6, 1952 in Berlin, the son of Bernard and Elaine (Pick) Rowen and raised in a family of two brothers and two sisters. He was a 1970 graduate of Berlin High School. On August 25, 1973, he married Debra Baniel at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Auroraville. They were proud parents of a son, Vincent William Rowen on July 22, 1981.

Throughout the years, Dennis worked at a variety of places: Greenings, Safe-Guard America and the Green Lake County Courthouse in the Maintenance Department. When not at work and during his leisure time, Dennis was an avid sports fan, always cheering on the Brewers, Bucks, Badgers and Packers.
One of the most important things in Dennis’s life was family. He was a caring and loving father, grandpa, brother, god-father, uncle, and cousin who, as you know, would do anything in his power to help others out. He may not have had everything but always had everything he wanted. He will be deeply missed by those whose lives were touched by him.

Dennis is survived by his son, Vincent Rowen (Rachel Kreusher); three grandchildren: William, Megan and Jon; two ankle biters: Mario and Kitty; sister, Gloria Grahn; brother, Gary (Cindy) Rowen; sister, Susan (Joseph) Formiller; sister-in-law, Karen Rowen; god-son, Nick (Tiffany) Formiller; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Elaine Rowen; brother, Tom Rowen; and brother-in-law, Larry Grahn.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, N2506 State Rd. 49, Berlin, WI 54923. A celebration of life will follow at the Berlin Bowling Alley.
