Obituary for Donald Richard "Rick" Lamp Jr.
Donald “Rick” Lamp Jr., age 70, died at Ascension Mercy Hospital on January 1, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born in Washington and moved to Oshkosh, WI where he became a machinist at Marvel. He retired early and was able to enjoy his Green Bay Packers from the warmth of Florida for 10 years. He moved back to Winneconne to be with his children and grandchildren.
Rick is survived by his children, Tabatha (Aaron), Bruce (Casie), and Gary (Callie). As well as his grandchildren, Samantha, Dylan, and Gavin.
He is preceded in death by his wife Donna, and his mother Dorothy.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff, Dr. Zornosa, and Dr. Leonard for everything they have done.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
My family would like to invite everyone who is interested , as we are having a celebration of life for Rick Lamp at Screwballs in Oshkosh on January 28th from 4-8pm to have a drink in his honor. This is a time to share memories, tell stories, and have lots of laughs and smiles about the good and wild times we all had with him. Please stop down share a story and enjoy a drink! We are looking forward to seeing everyone.
