Obituary for Douglas Henry Dutscheck

Douglas Henry Dutscheck, age 53, passed away, June 27, 2022, with family and friends by his side, after his courageous ten year battle with cancer. He had good days and bad days, but was always supported by family and friends. He remained brave and faithful throughout his final years.

Douglas was born on May 22, 1969, to James and Barbara Dutscheck. He grew up in a large loving family with two sisters and four brothers. Following high school, Doug joined the Marine Corps (following in father’s footsteps). After his service he went to college, obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from UW Parkside.
Doug married his soulmate, Laura Tadda, on May 22, 1993, they were blessed with four beautiful children, Nathaniel (Lexie Edwards), Madelyn, Noelle, and Trinity. Doug was a dedicated family man and loved his children dearly.

Doug’s passion was working with people. He worked in Customer Service at Enterprise for nearly 25 years.
He loved his family, friends, and huge gatherings, and enjoyed planning these events. He was a proud Marine, an avid hunter, a Disney freak, a rummage sale guru, a glamper, and a faithful church parishioner. His collection of crosses, nativities, and lighthouses and the stories behind them will always be remembered.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Dennis John, who passed away at the early age of 6 weeks old; and his father James Edward Dutscheck Sr.

Services will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Peter Site), 449 High Avenue, Oshkosh, WI. There will be a Memorial Visitation, Thursday Evening, June 30, 2022, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, with the rosary at 7:00 pm.
On Friday, July 1, 2022, there will be a Memorial Visitation from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am. Following the Mass, the Grave Side Service, including Military Honors, will begin at 12:45 pm at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 2450 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI. In lieu of flowers the family would welcome contributions to help cover the cost of funeral expenses.
