Obituary for Douglas Passineau

Douglas Edward Passineau
May 1, 1965-March 2, 2021

At age 55 he passed away at his home, in Oshkosh, WI, due to health issues. He is in the arms of his beloved savior Jesus Christ. Doug was born on May 1, 1965 in Ames, Iowa to Edward and Marlene (Flaig) Passineau. He graduated from Lincoln High School, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Living life on his own terms may have been understood by few but that never kept Doug from being true to his self and desires. He had a passion for life and a very tender heart, always wishing the best for those around him. Doug pursued his love for music playing multiple instruments; drums being his favorite. He was an avid player of the harmonica, guitar, keyboard, banjo, and later in life he loved the violin. Doug always loved a good exploration and adventure. He had a strong primal instinct for hunting, fishing, and gathering. He enjoyed searching for and collecting long lost treasures. He owned his style and passions unapologetically. His sense of humor was ever present, his smile and his laugh were contagious. He loved his family more than anything.

Doug is survived by his father Edward Passineau; three children: Jennifer (Aaron) Schulist, Dillon Passineau and Janessa Passineau; his precious grandchildren: Mac and Mavis Sagami, Mitchell Schulist and Dax Passineau; one brother: Todd (Birgit) Passineau and one sister: Nichole (Parke) Speth. Doug is also survived by many other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his mother Marlene (Flaig) Passineau.

May you rest in the arms of Jesus forever, our father, son, brother and friend. We will remember you in the most intimate of ways.
