Joanne M. Stoeckl, age 70, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. She was born in Milwaukee on August 1, 1950 the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Pissani) Marusich. Joanne graduated from UW-Oshkosh, earning a master’s degree. She taught at Harambee Community School in Milwaukee, retiring in 2012. Joanne was involved in the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts as a leader, volunteered at St. Raphael’s in Oshkosh where she helped with religion classes, volunteered with Advocap serving meals on wheels, and was known to be a very good sewer. Joanne will be remembered for her generosity and compassion.

Joanne is survived by her children; Ronald (Corinne) Stoeckl Jr. and Angie (Jerry) McGuff; grandchildren: Hunter Stoeckl, Emma McGuff and Mason McGuff; and siblings: Robert (Kathy) Marusich, Diane Chamness, Ronald Marusich and Judy (Fred) Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her former husband, Ronald Stoeckl Sr.

A private family service will be held in the Spring.
