Joseph Earl Wolf(known as "Earl" and "Joe") 85, Neenah, passed away on October 14, 2018.

Joe was born February 2, 1933 to Alex and Iona (Pingel) Wolf. Growing up in Stockbridge WI, Joe graduated in 1950 and entered the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict serving as a Guard Mail Petty Officer in Hawaii. He was a proud veteran and a lifetime member of Neenah VFW Post 10893.

Joseph worked at Milwaukee's Chain Belt, the Menasha Wood Split Pulley Company before starting his career at the Neenah Foundry in 1957. He worked at NF in Scheduling and Production Inventory Control until his retirement in 1990 and was a member of the Neenah Foundry Quarter Century Club. He was proud of his 34 years at the Foundry.
On June 7, 1958, Joe married his "Little Sweetheart", Shirley Peterson in Stockbridge WI. They celebrated 60 years of marriage earlier this year.

Joe was a great storyteller, voracious reader and an avid firearms enthusiast. After retirement, Joe and Shirley loved to travel and stay at their lake home in Long Lake WI. They also enjoyed long walks together and going to lunch at their favorite restaurants, Four Seasons and Mud Creek.

Joe is survived by his wife, Shirley; children: Cheri Wolf (Robert) Beekman, Neenah; Scott (Georgia) Wolf, Appleton; Brian (Diana) Wolf; Neenah; grandchildren: Talia (Nick) Lewis, Jessy Wolf (special friend, Justin Willems), Alex Wolf and Abby Wolf; great-grandchild: "Baby" Lewis, due December 2018; a sister, Donna (Paul) Kaliska; brothers-in-law: Robert
(Gobbo) Kopplin, Robert (Terry) Woelfel, sisters-in-law, Audrey (Hermie) Stecker, Sharon Wolf and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, a brother and sister-in-law, Alexander

(Bud) and Katie Wolf, a sister, Norma Kopplin, a brother, Gerald (Jerry) Wolf, and a sister-in-law, Carol Woelfel.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Joe at The Dome, 1338 S.
Commercial Street, Neenah WI on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 11 AM - 3 PM. A short service will be officiated by Pastor Cliff Mast with Military Honors to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Joe's name.
