Kayla Ann Chopp, age 29, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 after a long battle with addiction. She was born on May 24, 1993 in Milwaukee. She graduated from Oshkosh West in 2011 and went on to become a welder, working for Generac in Berlin. Kayla was known to attend many music concerts and loved to play the claw machine. She will be remembered for always putting other people before herself and could bring a smile to everyone's face.
Kayla is survived by her parents, Linda (Thomas) Walsh and Chaime (Darcel) Schmear; sisters: Tiffany (Michael Gamble) Walsh and Jamie Walsh; nephews: Bentley and Thomas Gambel; Grandparents Roland(Patricia) Schmear; and many aunts and uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Karen “Cookie” Chopp. Kayla was loved by many of her friends.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
