Lee Pesch, 79, went home to his Lord and Savior, on April 23, 2023. He was born on August 22, 1943, to Sylvia (Zager) and Martin Pesch in Oshkosh, WI. He graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1961 and upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving from 1961 until 1965. He worked at Rockwell International for 30 years. After retirement, he then pursued his passion for golf and worked at Bay Hill in Florida, followed by Municipal and Westhaven golf courses in Oshkosh.
Lee married Susan Karst on February 14, 1992. He loved to golf (having achieved three separate hole-in-ones) and was a Green Bay Packer, Brewers and Bucks fan. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Susan; daughters, Shirley Ackerman, Leslie Jacobson, April (Scott Moore) Pesch, Paula (Andrew) Damp, Lisa (Mike) Christman; grandchildren, Ryan and Tony Hunter, Samantha and Lucie Spanbauer, Mindy (Bryce) Wilderman, Amanda (Jacob) Burns; and five great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Marlyn (Ronald) Ostwald; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Mike Frahm; life-long golfing buddies, other friends and family.
He was preceded in death by parents Martin and Sylvia Pesch; brother, Paul Pesch; and three grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Peace Lutheran Church 240 W. 9th Street, Oshkosh, WI on Friday, May 5, with visitation from 9am until 11am with service to follow.
