Lisa “Bird” Lynn Ritchie, age 52, passed away unexpectedly, on August 10, 2023, surrounded by family, in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was born on November 18, 1970, to parents, James and Linda (Boodry) Ritchie in Michigan. She proudly served in the Army during Desert Storm, primarily being stationed in Germany. Lisa enjoyed doing DIY projects and crafting for family and friends. She was an avid reader and a collector of coins, piggy banks and baby Yoda. You could often find her hanging out on her porch making new friends in the neighborhood, often surrounded by her loving feline friends. One of her favorite things to do besides BINGO, was to take a long uncharted car ride with her significant other Daryl. Her grandchildren were also a huge part of her life and she enjoyed every moment watching them grow. Lisa is survived by her father, James Ritchie; three children, Kelsea (Thomas) Paez, Arizona Wilber and Samantha Wilber; step-children, Stephen White and Ashelyn; significant other, Daryl White; brother, Adam Ritchie; grandchildren, Greyson, Keegan, Noah, Ezra and Haiden; sister-of-the-heart, April Ritchie; and nephews, Jesse Ritchie, Taylor Ramsey and Tate Schmiedel. She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Boodry; aunt, Lorie Boodry; grandson, Kyler Paez and mother-in-law, Diane White. A memorial is being established. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, starting at 11:00am to 1:00pm, at Fox Cities Funeral and Cremation, 3026 Jackson St., Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Military honors will follow. The family would like to thank nurse Heather, nurse Hannah, and all of the staff at Theda Care Appleton, the Berlin EMS, and the Berlin Police Department for their assistance during this difficult time.
