Mary Louella Arnett, age 81, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born in Bloomington, IL on October 31, 1938 the daughter of the late Harold and Pauline (Smith) Huston. On May 24, 1959 she married her husband of 61 years, Raymond Arnett. Mary loved to read, sew and crochet, and was known by her children to make amazing Barbie cloths. She was proud of her family and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, often babysitting her grandchildren. As a helper of others, she often found herself being an advocate for the residents of Evergreen. Mary will be remembered for the help, love and support she gave to her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her children: Tery Arnett, Julie Appollo, Betsy (Jeff) Uhler and Bill (Stephanie) Arnett; grandchildren: Chris (Karissa) Arnett, Ashleigh (Austin) Young, Andrea Arnett, Mary (Nick) Harvey, Sarah (Dan) Cluka, Kimberly (Matt) Ebbons, and Taylor, Mikayla and Will Arnett; great-grandchildren: Alyssa and Ethan Ebbons, and Bryce Harvey; and brother, Patrick (Shizue) Huston. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Bill and Peter Huston; and sister, Betty (Harold) Steidinger.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
