Obituary for Michael Charles Klein (Klein) Sr.
Michael C. Klein Sr., age 81, went home to our Loving Savior on July 14, 2023. He was born on March 14, 1942, to Frank and Mary Jean (Rudy) Klein in Illinois.
He grew up on a large farm where he loved taking care of all the animals and being one with nature. In his younger years, he took to playing golf. Michael was also very interested in genealogy, history and researching his lineage. As a result of his findings, he was able to travel abroad to Germany and Jerusalem. He was a devoted parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield, Il. He enjoyed his many trips to Wisconsin to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his three children, Michael Klein Jr., Theresa (Rick Christens) Klein and Deborah Buelter; grandchildren, Jonathan Gieringer, Kayla Christens, and Alexander (Samantha) Buelter; great-grandchildren, Maxton, Ryla and Elias Buelter; sister, Joan (William Kudhay) Klein, and Sue Hedlund; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; and sister, Barbara Larson.
Michael will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He will be laid to rest in a family plot in Illinois.
