Obituary for Shirley Ann Wolf (Peterson)

Shirley Ann (Peterson) Wolf aged 82, of Neenah passed from this life on December 27, 2019. She was born at home on June 19, 1937 to the late Julius H. Peterson and Mabel K. (Miller) Peterson in Stockbridge WI.

Shirley attended the Frances Scott Key Elementary School in Stockbridge. She attended Hilbert and Stockbridge High Schools graduating from Stockbridge in 1955.

Shirley married Joseph E. (Earl) Wolf on June 7, 1958 at the St. Mary's of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Stockbridge WI.

Shirley worked at AT&T as a Switchboard Operator prior to and during the first years of her marriage. She later worked for Meyer's Booterie and Plexus for many years in Neenah WI..

After retirement, Shirley and Joe loved to travel and stay at their lake home in Long Lake WI. They enjoyed long walks together and going to lunch at Mud Creek and Four Seasons.

She is survived by Cheri Wolf (Robert) Beekman, Scott (Georgia) Wolf, Brian (Diana) Wolf. Shirley is also survived by her grandchildren: Talia (Nick) Lewis, Jessy Wolf, Alex Wolf, Abby Wolf, and great-grandchild Tatum Lewis, brothers-ln-law: Hermie Stecker, Terry Woelfel, Robert Kopplin, a sister-in-law and her husband: Donna and Paul Kaliska, sister-in-law: Sharon Wolf and many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 60 years: Earl, her parents and sisters: Audrey Stecker and Carol Woelfel, brother-in-law Alexander Wolf and his wife, Katie, sister-in-law: Norma Kopplin, brother-in-law: Jerry Wolf and her nephew, Jonathan Woelfel.

The family will receive relatives and friends at her Celebration of Life at Bridgewood Resort in the Grand Ballroom, 1000 Cameron Way
Neenah, WI on January 20, 2020. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM. A service with Reverend Cliff Mast officiating will be at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Shirley's name benefiting the Alzheimer's Association.

We wish to express our thanks to the staff at American Grand Assisted Living and Ascension Hospice for their kindness and assistance in the care given to Shirley.

We love you, Mom/Grandma! Hope you and Dad/Grandpa are having a great time together.
