Obituary for Steven Michael Boushele

Steven “Bubba” M. Boushele passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He was born on November 12, 1952 in Oshkosh, the son of Harold and Jane Boushele.

Bubba graduated from Lourdes Academy and went on to work numerous jobs. He then worked for the Bemis Corporation for 19 years. In his younger days he loved to play softball and bowl. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed going to Wrigley Field to watch them play. He also liked going up north with his dad and family which included stops to try his luck at casinos. Many of us can remember Bubba and his energetic dancing and sliding across the floor on his knees to the song “Proud Mary” at weddings.

Bubba is survived by his two daughters, Lisa (Matt) Pennau, and Heather Boushele; three grandchildren; siblings, Ken Boushele, Harv (Debra) Boushele, Debbie (Morgan) Voss, Ann Doro, Christine (Randall) Spatt, Bob (Tammy) Boushele, and Brian Boushele. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Jr.; parents, Harold and Jane; brother, Russ Boushele; sister, Barb Weidner; brother-in-law, Doug Weidner; and two nephews, Ryan Weidner and Michael Boushele.

The family would like to thank ThedaCare ICU for their care of Steven. A private family service is being held. Condolences can be made online at foxcitiesfuneral.com.
