Wesley “Wes” Hugh Jolin, passed away on August 15, 2023, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He was born to parents, Hugh and Elsie (Schuette) Jolin, on November 20, 1929, in Wisconsin.
Wes and his wife Betty operated the Two Rivers Yellow Cab and Resale business from 1973-1991. He enjoyed the outdoors while fishing, hunting and especially picking mushrooms. Wes also enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Braves, Brewers, and Packers. He had a passion for music and frequently entertained the staff and others at his nursing home with his piano and organ playing.
Survivors include his daughter, Amy Schroeder; sons, Michael, and Cary; adopted son, Keith (Dawn) Jolin; stepchildren, Dennis (Gloria) Luebke and Judith Durre; along with many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Wes is proceeded by his parents, Hugh and Elsie (Schuette) Jolin; wife, Betty (Huntington) Jolin; stepdaughters, Deanna Bernhardt and Shirley Moore; sisters, Nancy (Dave) Donnelly and Rita (Lloyd Olson), an infant sister, Barbara Jolin; and brother-in-law, William Hansen.
The Jolin family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center, along with the staff from Hospice. He was in good hands, and we appreciate you all!
