Obituary for Donna J. Doule (Frey)

Donna J. Doule, age 90, passed away at Wisconsin Veterans Home at King on March 30, 2018. She was born in Berkeley, CA on October 22, 1927 the daughter of the late Russell and Catherine (Revland) Frey. She was married to Gordon E. Doule and they enjoyed 66 years of marriage. He preceded her in death in 2015. Donna was a long-time member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Oshkosh. She was active in politics and proud to be a member of the R.N.C. She kept very busy and enjoyed Skiing, playing bridge, riding her bike, horseback riding, and working out at the senior center.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Deborah Barr of Ortonville, MI; grandchildren: Christopher (Julie) Barr, Michelle (Ray) Auch and Eric Doule; great-grandchildren: Alexus Barr and Dustin Auch; brother, Charles (Julie) Frey of Arizona; sister, Nancy (Tim) Gaither of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; son, Daniel Ripley Doule; brothers: James and William Frey; and son-in-law, Mathew Barr.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, Ainsworth Hall, N2665County Rd. QQ, King, WI. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh.

The family extends a special to the wonderful staff at Veterans Home at King for their outstanding care.
