Obituary for Anita Henningsen

Anita B. Henningsen, age 53, of Oshkosh, died May 7, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born September 27, 1950 in Nurenberg, Germany the daughter of Vilhelms and Hildegarde Berlinger Stamurs. She moved to the United States with her parents at the age of 3 years old and settled in the Fond du Lac area. She married Michael Henningsen in Oshkosh on September 29, 1999. Anita loved the outdoors and could often be found working outside in her yard and garden. Other hobbies included collecting Angels, Lighthouses, Roosters and Cows. Together, Anita and Michael enjoyed attending the Dinner Theater in Ft. Atkinson.

Anita is lovingly survived by her husband; Michael, who is a life member of the Disabled Veterans and Amvets because of a service connected disability, her mother; Hildegarde, step daughter; Heather (Ray) Miller of Thermal, CA., and four grandchildren; Sean, Joshua, David and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends and relatives may greet the family on Friday, May 14, 2004 at Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church, 1526 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh from 1 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 P.M. with Rev. Jeffrey A. Berg officiating. Burial will be in the Rienzi Cemetery in Fond du Lac. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Anita’s name.
