Obituary for Barbara Taylor

Barbara Ann Taylor, age 64 of Oshkosh, passed away Monday June 2, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Milwaukee on September 27, 1943 the daughter of James and Camille Zander Grace. Barbara worked earlier in life at a radio television station in Jacksonville, Florida, Winnebago County Social Services, the Leach Company, and recently worked seasonally at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Bookstore. She enjoyed reading mystery and detective novels, visiting the UWO Bookstore, listening to big band music, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara is survived by three children; Pam (Jeff) Youngs-Thomas, Jay (Chris) Taylor, and Christine (fiancée Kevin Marine) Taylor, all of Oshkosh, fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three brothers, Robert (Patricia) Grace, James Grace, Patrick( Julie) Grace, one sister, Kathy Grace, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Hicks and Camilla Grace. A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held on Friday June 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament (St. Mary Site) with Father Joel Sember officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m.until time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name. A special thank you to Preferred Home Care, and the staffs of Bethel Home and Mercy Medical Center Intensive Care Unit, for all the compassion that was given to Barbara and her family
