Obituary for Beatrice Griffin

Beatrice V. Griffin, age 90 of Oshkosh, WI, passed away March 17, 2008 at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Waukegan, Illinois on September 7, 1917 the daughter of Harry and Helen Brown Quandt. Beatrice was an Airplane Mechanic in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. She was a member of the American Legion in Illinois and the Amvets Auxiliary of Oshkosh, WI. Beatrice is survived by two sons; Ronald E. (Charlotte) Griffin, Oshkosh,WI, and Martin M. Griffin, Libertyville, IL, grandchildren; Kenneth, Kevin (Jill), Ronald M. (Tamara), Michael and Matthew, great-grandchildren; Joseph, Allison, Benjamin, Dillon and Kate, sister-in-law; Rosalie Zierling, Waukegan, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elvin, one brother and one sister. A Memorial Service for Beatrice will be held on Friday March 21, 2008 at 4:00 p.m., at Fox Cities Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Olm officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services. Graveside services for Beatrice will be held on Saturday March 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Pine View Memorial Park in Waukegan
