Obituary for Donald Vesperman
Donald “Sam”Vesperman, age 72, of Oshkosh, passed away on January 4, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center with his family by his side. Don was born on February 20, 1941, in Lancaster, WI the son of Oscar and Cora Vesperman. Don worked for UW-Oshkosh. In his spare time Don enjoyed hunting, shooting, and spending time with his family. He was actively involved in the Van Dyne Sportsmans Club.
Don is survived by one brother, Roger his children: Michael (Vicki), Kristin, Tyler, and Tarah, and six grandchildren; Mikael, Cameron, Blade, Hayden, Courtney, and Trey. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews, and two ex-wives Beatrice and Sandy.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings; Bill, Gene, Arlene, and Larry. Don was also preceded in death by his first wife Helen.
Visitation will be held at the Van Dyne Sportsmans Club, 584 E. Lone Elm Road, Van Dyne, WI.on January 11, 2014, at 9 a.m. followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. Please join us with your stories and fond memories of our Dad. We look forward to reminiscing with you about his life. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
