Condolences

Condolence From: Katie Breslin
Condolence: I met Ellen in the late 90's when she came up to Montrose to say good bye to Sue Johnson, who was moving to Arizona. We agreed to contact each other and we sure did. I really met a wonderful friend. I guess I should say, thank you Sue for introducing me to Ellen. Ellen and I met on a regular basis in Burbank, which was mid way between where we each lived, for dinner and a show or just dinner. We were on the phone A LOT. We shared many things and she was always one who "had the answer" for what ever was troubling me. Ellen was the strongest person I have ever known. She was never afraid of anything, which is why she was able to carry on so long. Also her strong faith in God who kept her... Continue reading

Condolence From: Carol & John
Condolence: Today is a good day to give thanks to have had Ellen in our lives. There is a lot to be said about and for Ellen--her courage during her long illness, her faith, but what always amazed us was her unbelieveable positive attitute. It was infectious, and let's not forget that energy. We often referred to Ellen as the Energizer bunny. For John she will always be the cool cousin from CA growing up and for us she will always be remembered for enriching our lives. Her family was everything to her and spending this last year and a half with her grandsons she would always say it was the best. Ellen, we will miss you. To Connie and the family take care. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Continue reading
