Obituary for Ellen Mary Amundson

Ellen Mary Amundson, age 60 of Oshkosh, passed away Thursday May 3, 2007, at Park View Health Center. She was born in Oshkosh, on November 27, 1946, the daughter of Glen and Eleanore (Samida) Omness. Ellen enjoyed gardening, loved her animals, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include; two sons, Scott Boehning, and Tom (Debbie) Amundson, who is proudly serving in the U.S. Army National Guard in Iraq, five grandchildren, Brett, Ashley, Sammy, Haley and Hunter, one sister, Glenna (Tim) Meyers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Vern Amundson. A Memorial Service for Ellen will be held on Tuesday May 8, 2007, at 7:00 P.M., at Fox Cities Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Olsen officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
