Obituary for Jeanette I. Gose

Jeanette I Gose, age 73 of Oshkosh, passed away on July 30, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 23,1933, in Scandinavia, WI, the daughter of the late Burger and Myrna (Youngwirth) Amundson. Jeanette married Raymond Gose on September 28, 1968. She was a waitress at the Roxy Supper Club for many years, and also at Joseph's Supper Club. Jeanette also worked at Bethel Home and Evergreen Manor, as a Nurses Aide, SNC and Evco Plastics, and worked and volunteered and later was a manager through Advocap at the Oshkosh Seniors Center. Jeanette also helped with home nursing for many people and enjoyed growing her own vegetables. She loved to laugh and share a good joke. Survivors include, her husband, Raymond Gose, their seven children, Roy Gose, James (Sheri) Gose, Susan (Greg) Hewitt, Larry (Mary) Gose, and Joseph, Gary, and Timothy Gose, six grandchildren, Greg and Michelle Hewitt, Windy, Joe, Kristi, and Caylin Gose, six great-grandchildren, Desiree, Nichole, Michael, Nicolas, Jason, and Taren, six sisters, Donna (Bill) Hayes, Louise (Bob) Lee, Delores (David) Dumke, Marlene (Ray) Decker, Sharon (Rodney) Schmidt, June (Joe) Dobrynski, three brothers, Kenneth (Bernice) Amundson, Dick Amundson, and Donald (Nancy) Amundson, other relatives and her friends, Alice Davis, Ginny Hewitt and Jimmy Davison. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Lawrence, one sister, Elaine, and one granddaughter, Kara Gose. Funeral Services for Jeanette will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2006, at 11:00am, at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Reiff officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 am until time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jeanette's name.
