Obituary for John Smith

John L. Smith, age 75, passed away Friday October 21, 2005 at Colony Oaks after a long battle with cancer. He was lovingly cared for by his son, Robert (Bubba) and Daughter in law Susan(Tutty) Smith and his Daughter Susan and Son in law David Prinsen. Before he went to Colony Oaks where he was superbly cared for until passing.
He was born in Antigo, Wisconsin on August 4, 1930. He worked in the furnace and siding business.
He is survived by his children , sons Robert (Susan) Smith, James (Risa) Smith, Daughters, Susan (David) Prinsen, Lori (Lee) Foth & Leslie Bowser. He is also survived by his sisters; Leona (Gene) Popp, Peggy (Boyd) Jost, Shirley (Bill) Falk and Brothers; Robert Moss and Arthur (Viola) Moss. Sister in Laws; Maggie Smith, Sharon Moss, and a brother in law Gilbert Balderas. His grandchildren; Robert, Corey, and Michael (Katie) Smith. Luke Smith. William (Jessica) Kolgen, Lisa (Craig) Fochs, Chad (Paige) Potratz, Perry Foth, Amy Foth, Zachary & Michael Bowser, JJ, Heather (Christopher) Brown, and Amanda Bowser. He is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Lillian Moss and Walter Smith, Step Father Leroy Moss, sister; Betty Balderas, Brothers; James Smith, Gerald Smith, Leroy Moss Jr., and Fredrick Smith, sister in laws, Ann Moss and Cecilia Thurber.

The Family would like to thank Colony Oaks & Preferred Home Health Care for the wonderful care you gave our Dad. Bonnie Van Gompel for Everything you did to help our dad and your visits. And everyone that went out of their way to help our dad in whet ever way you did while he was to get around on his scooter and be independent.

Pa you were wonderful thru this trying time. We will miss you and love you always. Be at peace now and know you have amazed us all.
