Obituary for Joseph William Stookey

Joseph William Stookey of 1733 Ashland St., Oshkosh, WI died June 14, 2004, at home, due to complications of Brain Cancer.
He died at home with his fiancé Barb Varnauskas. Born November 14, 1945 in Peoria, IL, the son of Dale and Helen (Perschall) Stookey of Hanna, IL.
Preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jimmy Stookey and one sister, Sharon Kahl both of Illinois.
Married to Deanna (Hazen) Stookey from 1994 to 2004. He served in the U.S. Army Artillery in Vietnam from 1962-1965. He did maintenance work until he retired. Survived by one brother, Donald Stookey of Handock, WI and one aunt, Phyllis Turner of East Peoria, IL. Six Sons, Gregg Siegler, Brad Heffren, Joe Stookey Jr. of IL, Rob Stookey of Oshkosh, WI, Andy (Suella) Kuenzl and Dale (Hope) Stookey both of Fairview, IL. Two Stepchildren, Bernie (Tammy) Muller and Becky Hazen both of Oshkosh, WI.
Nine Grandchildren, Carri Ann Kuenzel of Conyers, GA Nichole Stookey, Jessica O’Connell, Britney Wyant, Brandon Field, Brady Muller all of Oshkosh, WI. Colt Stookey of High Point, NC. Jake Kuenzl and Sierra Stookey of Fairview, IL.
