Obituary for Kevin Michael Van Ryzin

Kevin M. Van Ryzin, age 46, passed away at home on January 25, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. Kevin was born in Neenah, WI, on October 15, 1969, to Martin and Kathleen (Drover) Van Ryzin. He married Erin (Harn) on July 2, 2009, in Oshkosh. Kevin had a huge heart, loved being around people, and would do anything for anyone. He was known to be quite the jokester, always pulling pranks and having fun with people. He loved The Packers to the extreme, with Packers shirts filling his entire closet. Kevin also had a special bond with their Golden Retriever, Bella, and their cat, Ember.He is survived by his wife; his daughters Katie, Aleesha; his sons, Ethan, and Seth; brother, Ken (Karyn) Van Ryzin; father-in-law and mother-in-law Merl and Peggy Harn; brother-in-law, Josh (Sara) Harn; and other nieces and nephews. Kevin is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Brian.Per Kevin’s wishes, no funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name at BMO Harris Bank.
