Lola “Candy” Ann Ihlenfeldt, 70, died peacefully January 6th, 2021 after a 7-month battle with Lymphoma. She was born November 23rd, 1950 to Vernon and Gertrude (Dolski) Ihlenfeldt at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin. A native of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, she graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1969 and went onto nursing school at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. There she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. For close to 45 years, she took care of patients; nursing them back to health. Lola was also a lover of animals. Family jokingly called her the crazy animal lady at the end of the street because she took in every animal that was brought home.

Lola is survived by her daughter Kandice (Vicki) Banville, two sons Dusty (June) Banville and Casey Banville, one granddaughter Aidyn Banville, upcoming grandchild, sister LaNita (Ron) Tebo, Goddaughters Tahnee (Geoff) Bollert and Robin (Tyler) Rovinski, nephews Paul (Jeanne) Ihlenfeldt, Travis (Cara) Tebo, Toby (Debbie) Tebo, Chad (Abby) Mathis, sister-in-law Barb Ihlenfeldt, brother-in-law Bill Mathis, many cousins, and great nieces and nephews.

Lola is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Linda Mathis, brother Lee Ihlenfeldt, niece Lori Bernhardt, and ex-husband Roy Banville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wisconsin Humane Society.

A special thank you to Eden Meadows staff for the care that they provided to Lola. She was well taken care of at a time where she was so sick, along with the obstacles of COVID-19. The family sincerely appreciates all that they did.
