Obituary for Martin Lawrence Muscavitch

Martin Lawrence Muscavitch, age 90, of Oshkosh, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 25, 2016. He was born to parents Lawrence and Lillian (Hoger) Muscavitch on November 28, 1925, on his parents’ dairy farm in the township of Poygan, Wisconsin. He attended Hill School, and graduated from Omro High School. He then attended Oshkosh Business College. He was married to Pearl Wesner in 1949, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winneconne, where he was also baptized and confirmed. He owned a dairy farm in the township of Poygan for 51 years.In retirement he spent time with family and friends in the Leech Lake area of Minnesota, and winters in “Royal Palms,” Alamo in south Texas.Martin is survived by his wife with whom he celebrated 66 anniversaries; three children, Marsha (Jim) Selle of Bonita Springs, Florida, David (Katie) of Winneconne, Paul (Ann) of Oshkosh; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and other extended family members. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his one brother, Donald (Sylvia) of Winneconne.A private funeral service for his family will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. His family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Bethel Home for their expertise and compassionate care of everyone.
