Obituary for Nancy Newell

Nancy J. Newell, age 62 of Oshkosh, passed away Tuesday June 3, 2008 at Aurora Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born September 27, 1945 the daughter of Herbert and Wilma Schubert Schimelpfenig. On January 7, 1967 she married Edgar J. Newell at Grace Lutheran Church in Omro. Nancy enjoyed genealogy and family history, gardening, taking trips with her family and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Edgar J. Newell, Oshkosh, four sons, Todd Michael Newell, Timothy Allen Newell, both of Oshkosh, Christopher Scott (Soiphet) Newell and their son Alanda, of Appleton, and Christopher's daughters Emily and Hailey Monroe, of Omro, Andrew David (Tricia) Newell and their daughter Emma, Of Oshkosh, two granddaughters, Emily and Hailey Monroe, her father Herbert H. (special friend Dolores Meyer) Schimelpfenig, of Omro, six sisters, Sally (John) Thomas, Pittsburgh, PA, Paula (Gary) Marks, Omro, Christine (Thomas) Fearson, Oakfield, WI, Deborah (Neil) Schmude, Omro, Joan Domske, Oshkosh, Jane (Richard) Christl, Omro, numerous in-laws, Lynn (Pat) Newell, Christine (David) Misterek, Linda Behlman, Michael (Connie) Newell, Robert (Pamela) Newell, Kathleen (Joul) Molinski, Gene (Mary) Newell, James (Angela) Newell, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother Wilma on March 10, 2000. Private family services are being held with burial in Omro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
