Obituary for Roy Posorski Jr.

Roy G. Posorski, Jr., age 48, of Oshkosh, died Friday evening, April 18, 2014. He was born on October 18, 1965, in Livermore, California, to Roy G. and Alice F. (Purdom) Posorski, Sr. J.R. as he was known by family and friends was an over-the-road trucker for Badger Federal and Ecklund Trucking, before moving to Montana to continue trucking. He loved the mountains and “Seasons in the Sun” was always his favorite song. Family and friends could find him playing cards or chess when not at work.
Survivors include a daughter, Cosette Posorski, and a son, Dakota Posorski; a granddaughter, Jada; his parents, Roy and Alice Posorski; six sisters, Debra (Reese) Posorski, Anita (Jay) Rule, Patricia Posorski, Cassandra Longsine, Melissa (Neil) Rowlay, and Kimberly Pawicz; many nieces and nephews and cousins. Preceding J.R. in death are his grandparents.
Private family services will be held.
