Keppler of Oshkosh, his special friends: David Winkel, Bob and Betsy Hemminghaus, Loren and Karen Rangeloff, and Paul and the "guys" at the Alpha Raceway in Fond du Lac. Steve graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1977. A man of many talents, he loved painting in oil, was able to fix or build literally anything, worked as an autobody man most of his life, was a huge NASCAR fan and did well as a competitive slot car racer, building his own cars and some for others. He enjoyed attending stock and modified and "Outlaw" races at Plymouth and Beaver Dam. Steve was preceded in death by his father John E. Keppler, his grandparents Thomas and Vivian Brickham, and great- grandparents Edward and Theresa Brueske. Visitation for Steven will be held at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Oshkosh, on Friday May 11, 2007, from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M., followed by a Memorial Service to be conducted by Fr. Doug Le Captain. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his name. Although Steve struggled through some troubled times in his life, we pray that at last he is at peace in the loving arms of his Maker. We love you, Steve.
